I was almost ready to pull the trigger on a program from ENEB (even DM'd some on the more senior members of this thread for assistance) but this 50 question 2 hour exam for 60 ECTS has me spooked.
I wrote to ENEB about this and expressed my concerns about how millish behaviour on their part could lead to reputational damage for graduates. I can easily see many resume's being trashed if it's reputation as an institution that cuts corners, gets around to recruiters.
This is their response to me:
"I understand what you are saying and I appreciate the honesty, but let me tell you that the reputation of our institution is impeccable and the fact of speeding up the exam modality and/or class attendance for students has to do with an intention to contribute to excellence academic coupling to a professional life that our students must inevitably have (otherwise they cannot enrol).
Our programs are for professional, dedicated people who we understand are looking for a step forward in their professional development oriented to the business world.
We understand that in these times it is difficult to trust institutions whose policy is to provide training at an affordable price, but (you can see it on our website) at this moment we have a current promotion, otherwise the program you requested, for example, it is above 7 thousand euros".
So basically behind a veiled threat to hike program fees this decision has been taken to enable a greater work/life balance for students. Duh??? If someone enrolls at an institution they should make sure they can manage their day to day lives whilst being a student and plan accordingly. If they unfortunately don't have the time to devote to a degree, they shouldn't enrol in one. Many, many people are in that situation. People have to make choices and prioritise and this means that not everything they would like to do, can be done. It's sad but that's life!
