PharmD to (+) YourPace BA in Political Science - Difficulty? Transfer credit? Minor?

Hi everyone. *skip to the asterisks to avoid pointless background information

I have rotations/APPEs left to complete my Doctor of Pharmacy degree, but I skipped from an Associate in science all the way to a PharmD (with pre-requisites in between). I chose Pharmacy because I have two children with autism and now also have one child with Type 1 Diabetes. I knew I needed access to a stable career that pays very well.


Now that I'm almost done, I'd also like to get a degree in a field I am truly passionate about so I have other opportunities available to me in the future. I have probably 170+ credit hours and I'm wondering if it's truly easy to get the maximum (90 hours) transferred in for the degree. 

I am hoping to complete the degree in one 8 week span and yes I know I "shouldn't" depend on that. I'm not depending on it, but I am hopefully and usually accomplish what I set my mind to. I have recently become fascinated by politics. I started the saylor academy course today to get a feel for political science and I think I can test out tomorrow because I've breezed right through it, but truly enjoyed every second of it.

***I would appreciate any guidance and information so please share your experience with:


* transferring in ACE/Community College/4-year credit hours
* YourPace: Is it difficult? What do the requirements per course consist of? Can you skip ahead if you're already familiar with a topic? Are there practice assessments/exams to see where you stand?
* BA in Political Science: What are the most difficult classes? Are there core or electives besides GEC that I can transfer in?
* Minors: Can anyone add a minor to their degree, even if they're using "YourPace"?
* Anything you feel is substantial or helpful
