I see PhD, Doctor of Philosophy, Swiss School of Business Research in your signature instead of a previous program of the same level. What program did you change from to this? Again, I forget what subject it was in as well, I remember something at least - it was an institution in Florida instead of an international one...
Not clear where to respond, so let me answer your question here. I started with the PsyD program at the American International Theism University. Their PsyD is in Grief Counseling. When I started, I felt I could use this degree to do just that: Grief Counseling. While a well-regarded and needed field, grief counseling is not lucrative and offered for free by many nonprofit organizations or mental health providers as a supplement to their already established practices. It's a program I am confident I could have flourished and been successful, but ultimately useless as a profession. I could have taken the AITU PsyD and specialized in something else within Mental Health, but that takes time to build clientele. I'm still on the fence with both programs however, as the PsyD at AITU is discounted for me at around $3,500, the SSBR Ph.D. program is around 7,000 EUR.
To continue to hone my expertise and experience in Business, Management, and Leadership, I found SSBR's Ph.D. in Management (or the Portfolio option) and decided to pursue that program. Unfortunately, I'm not in the program now, as I have until May 2023 to pay my first installment (tuition plan). But I do have an acceptance letter. They accepted my ENEB MBA+Masters in Business & Corporate Communications without question, coupled with my 28 years of Leadership experience, via a robust Professional Resume.
You know, now that I am writing all this and answering your question, I find myself reconsidering staying in the PsyD Program at AITU since I'm already in the program, and it's much cheaper than the SSBR tuition. Anyway, that's my answer and current deliberation. I am also considering the AITU Ed.D. program instead. Education and Education Consulting is a very lucrative and wide open field if I want to connect my Business Leadership, Risk Management, and Executive Coaching to working as a consultant. Right now I'm firmly in the DHA program at VUL, and the second Doctorate is still up in the air. Price-wise, AITU is still the best option and all I need to do is chose my field and stick with it.
