Theres also the fact that teceps are pass/fail and asu ul are graded. I know for my business degree I was going to take a UL tecep to meet the req. but my school's business college is strict and for UL business course in the major all transfer credit had to be letter grade credit from an RA school with a C or above and I tried but p/f didn't count.
During I covid I switched my courses to p/f and they warned me about transferability.
So yes this ASU thing expensive for the big 3 but outside of the big 3 the gold standard of transferability is letter graded RA credit. I have a lot of credit, and every single one of my letter graded RA credit (that I didn't fail) transferred to every school I've attended. Sure sometimes it transferred as free elective but it always transferred with no issues. Same could not be said with ACE, my ACE went to waste when I got my bachelors.
