I repeat, everything including evaluations completed before application deadline, they may be extremely busy. Example, application deadline is Oct 4, enrollment starts Oct 24. You want to follow up before OctThis is a comparatively minor concern, and I hate to ask given the pain of this specific issue…but if a person has started this semester, could their enrollment in the next semester’s classes also get lost? I know UMPI is overwhelmed and am wondering if in-flight students could also get lost in the shuffle.
I highly doubt that current students could "get lost" in the shuffle. Current students and prospective students are (mostly) handled by separate departments. It sounds like the UMaine-system evaluators are dropping the ball and that there isn't much that the UMPI-specific staff can do except take the brunt of the blame.
Once you're a current student, you should be good.
