The majority of UMPI courses are writing papers as it's a CBE program. You may be better off going to UMPI for your undergrad so you can work on your writing skills as you will need to understand APA and academic writing for grad school. Usually you won't get APA lessons in grad school. You're expected to already know it and understand it. Grad school is a lot of writing. Most grad programs have few exams as you need to be able to apply theories. As an undergrad you learn about the concepts behind the theories and as a grad student you're typically applying those theories and sometimes conducting research.
