The fact is, I don't hate Elon Musk. I don't agree with him on certain subjects but I don't know that he's a bad person, at least not any worse than anyone else. I don't think there's any contradiction in liking someone and criticizing them. It's entirely possible to like someone and also see their faults.

People don't have to hate someone to disagree with them. There are many things Elon does which I find to be unethical. Doesn't mean I hate him. Lots of executives say and do things I find to be unethical. Doesn't mean I hate them.
I really like Bon Jovi. I will say he's not the greatest singer on the planet and as he's aged his voice has changed. I still enjoy his music. I will definitely admit there have been some songs over the years that I want to ask him why he wasted the energy recording them. But hey he must like them and that's all that matters.
