To clear up the misinformation in this thread: Goldsmiths is NOT awarding certificates for their degrees except for the Lasalle degree in Singapore. Goldsmiths is awarding certificates for their postgraduate diploma and certificate programs and other non-degree programs. There is no source in the Wikipedia article that proves that Goldsmiths is awarding their own diplomas for their degrees; their website, which is the best source, says that they are not awarding diplomas for their degrees.

University of London External aka University of London International Academy aka University of London Worldwide is not a college or university; it is an administrative division of University of London that handles distance learning and external programs. Similar examples in the U.S. would be Penn State University World Campus and Missouri Online.
