Yeah, I hit that wall too.
My suggestions:
1. Stop thinking about the brick wall. It makes it worse.
2. Set small goals--so many hours per day or so many pages in the book
3. Eat some chocolate
4. Reward yourself for milestones along the way. Preferably with chocolate
5. Pray for inspiration and encouragement
6. Keep your eye on the GOAL!!!!
Of course, reassessing isn't bad either. So you don't finish before you turn 17. Finishing at 17 is still incredible. And you're not out there just trying to impress people (right?) so do what works for you. If you need to take a week off to rejuvenate your batteries, that's okay. It's not like you're procrastinating for ten years or something.
