My son took the CLEP Calculus test a couple of weeks back and got just under the cutoff needed for credit. He also took the Uexcel Beta test which is explained here,
UExcel - College Credit by Exam
and felt very confident afterwards. He said the Uexcel was more generic in nature and therefore easier. I mention this as a backup plan, since the test is free during the beta period and will qualify for college credit once the beta testing is completed.
