US MBAs aren't necessarily more or less respected than foreign degrees. Especially among people who think Ivy or nothing.
In general, a degree is only as good as YOU think it is. If you think that an no-name degree is the best value for your money, you'll be able to easily sell that sucker to any interested employers. If you aren't sure about your Harvard or Yale degree, nobody is going to be able to get you hired. You'll probably get hired eventually, with your Ivy League degree, but it wouldn't be as good of a job as you'd get if you hyped yourself and really sold it.
