That's an incorrect statement. It hugely depends on the policies of target college - some do allow to earn associates after bachelors, some don't.

Never heard of anyone going back to school to become a nurse after getting a bachelor's degree? It used to be pretty common, before the BSN was a thing.

Nope. I don’t know any nurses…. And I know absolutely nothing about nursing degrees.
