I wasn't asking for current high schoolers, but those who perhaps are 18 or 19 and would struggle to get in to a school otherwise. I can just explain the process and they can wait until they're 20. It's fantastic either way.
If they'd otherwise have issues getting a regular Associate's degree, the 1-2 years will give them time to collect all of the required credits with less pressure than a "normal" school.
Exactly. They would struggle under normally scheduled courses, deadlines, time management, too many projects/details to remember. Their success would be more apt to happen if able to go with as much self paced as possible. It could actually take them even longer than 20 yrs old to reach the goal of achieving this degree, but I want to encourage them even if it takes a few yrs longer. I just hope it's still available when they're ready !
