My daughter is planning to take CLEP exam "Freshman College Composition" with Essay tomorrow. The study guide indicates that she needs to select a "receiving institution" for the faculty to score the essays. But at this point she hasn't enrolled TESC yet, does that mean she shouldn't take this test until she enrolls TESC? Or is there any way for her to take the test now?
BTW she took English Composition without Essay last week, but later realized TESC requires Essay, so she is trying to take Freshman College Composition with Essay as a makeup.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Matthew,
She has 2 choices, either one works.
a) Select TESC anyway. If she has applied, they have a file for her. If not, they will start one. In 6 months, if she hasn't enrolled it is inactive.
b) Don't select a school. You can leave this blank, it's no big deal because you don't have to be in school to take the exams. Eventually, when she is ready to go to college, she can pay CLEP $20 and they will forward a transcript to the college with all of her exam scores on it. (not $20 per test, $20 for the whole thing)
As you can see, there is little difference and so he choice is yours.
