I've read a number of accounts where students were penalized for having less than 10 pages and less than 10 references. Personally, I've never believed in writing to a specific amount as the aim of a paper should be to prove or justify a point in as much scholarly text as necessary, and writing to a specific amount usually calls for an unnecessary level (you wind up continuing to just write for the sake of fulfilling the requirement), but clearly most colleges disagree with my take on that.
That said, just like any other program, you're going to have graders at ENEB with differing interpretations of what is acceptable, but my own research has shown me that less than 10 pages and 10 references is going to be looked at less favorably there. Some have described the graders positions as "arbitrary" and with some convincing points. So, similar issue like you find at many other schools.
Thank you! Do you have any idea how strict they are on essay formats, etc? I know some schools have different opinions of it.
