WHOSE JOB IS IT?!. The end result is that instead of having to take just a few courses, I basically have to retake 2 years even though I have over 100 credits from NYU, one of the best universities in America. DO NOT TRUST THAT THEY WILL FOLLOW THEIR WORD. ONLY ENROLL IF THEY HAVE ALREADY ALLOCATED YOUR CREDITS PROPERLY. Do not give them money. It is a SCAM. I wouldn't be surprised if certain people on this forum were actually UMPI representatives pretending to have been successful in the program.
The Registrar is who determines credit transfer at every school. Do you have the course syllabus? Can you get it if you don't have it? Were these UL courses at NYU and Harvard? Not sure why someone would go from NYU or Harvard to UMPI, but hey whatever floats your boat.
UMPI is NOT a scam! It is a university within the University of Maine system. And no I'm not an UMPI representative. I'm an alumni who completed their degree at UMPI after I transferred with college credit from 6 colleges.
