What I recommend is to accelerate/compact the education, not cut corners to your child's education. I advocate learning cheaper, easier, faster, not skipping anything in the process. Sometimes it is hard to retain information, I usually recommend both CLEP/MS and Sophia.org as some courses overlap and have the same information.

Furthermore, the courses may transfer in differently at the college level, depending on the college, thus granting "extra" credit, an example is Biology, Sophia comes in as BIO 101 and CLEP comes into TESU as BIO 111 & BIO 112, in total, the child will get 9 credits for just a few dollars!
