You have a good point that one person's freedom shouldn't take away someone else's freedom. The government has gone too far in my opinion and people that had been frogs slowly boiling in water are starting to realize this.

If you prefer to be infected, that is your personal choice. Almost a third of infected individuals are suffering from long-term symptoms.
(1)I don't think there is anything you can do within reason that can reduce your odds to a 0% chance of getting infected. However, if you do become infected with symptoms, you can ride it out and hope your body's antibodies will work or do the Regeneron treatment.
(2)It might be time for us to admit that the COVID vaccine is flawed, probably doesn't work as well as a traditional vaccine that contains the full actual virus which is weakened like the measles vaccine.
(3)Considering the virus doesn't mutate beyond the current vaccines, herd immunity will come, and eventually, we'll get through this. In the end, the data will likely show the mandates, and masks made little to no difference in the outcome.
(1) Reducing the risk of infection to 0% was never the goal. Reducing the death rate, reducing hospitalizations, reducing community spread, those were the goals. What you can do to achieve those goals is to get vaccinated and take other precautions such as wearing a mask.
(2) All vaccines are flawed in some way. Success is never 100%. All the data support the idea that over an entire population these vaccines are far better than none at all.
(3) You say, "We'll get through this" but clearly, people are dying every day. In the end (and even now), the data will show you're wrong.
