I spent my childhood summers on the Navajo Reservation, so I wrote about how the article excludes the Native populations of the Navajo, Hopi, and Pueblo of Isleta. They have a term where they called people who eat fish, fish cannibals. Fish isn't a part of the cuisine or culture of the civilization of which I spent my summers growing up. My life was pretty much hospitals in California, a little bit of time in the SoCal area, and my freedom months (the summer) was in New Mexico.I thought that fish roe one had to be a mistake. It just seemed so out of place for the course topic.
OLS 530 is writing heavy. But, it's not research heavy. It is a lot of here's a theory about diversity. Now, have you experienced in your life? Think back, etc. It is a lot of it.
Professor Lisa Leduc is really awesome and her feedback is super on point.
OLS 640 Innovation The outline was killer. You have to have drafts before your finals. Which is actually REALLY cool. But the outline had to be 7 pages. The professor's advice is AWESOME. I wish I can go to one of his lectures in person now that I have my hearing aids. He explains things and connects to things extremely well.
