Did you know that there are now more trees on Earth because CO2 (our emissions) are tree-food? It seems like the Earth might be capable of renewing itself in many ways.
The US also has reduced it's emissions over the years, and we are much cleaner than many countries. China cares nothing for the environment and never will. They will introduce as much coal plants into the country as needed with zero thought about what it does to the environment or even their own people. We will continue to do what we can to clean the air, but they'll be working twice as hard to make it dirty. That's just the way it is.
