New General Education Requirements Effective July 1

Am seriously considering switching to the new catalog. Aside from the currently-confusing "Social Sciences" requirement, the new catalog does seem to be an improvement.

Have you compared the "now" requirements with the credits you currently have and the "new" ones? Someone mentioned the old catalog had better use of their credits and the newer catalog dropped some of their credits off to the other field. Have you checked yours?

When I received the email last night I instantly thought that this would be more hoops to jump through. As it turns out I was right. Good thing I enrolled in June . 2 additional courses for new bacs students.

I haven't checked the updated degree requirements yet. I don't think the updates would have changed too much for current students, it seems better for 'new' students too. Is it me or is that what I am led to believe... someone should do a comparison! haha, not me...
