Schools are silly. They use the same thing to mean different things. There are two different types of residency: state residency and school residency. If you live in NJ, you have state residency and get in-state tuition. That's what that residency means. School residency pertains to how many credits you've taken at that school. Each institution has a different requirement. With Excelsior, the minimum is 7 credits. With COSC, the minimum is 6 credits. With TESU, the minimum is 6 w/ fee or 16 if you don't want to pay the fee. With UMPI, residency is 30 credits.
