My daughter is taking TEL Biology now, she's not finding it stressful at all. It is similar in nature to her current online courses at a CC, except that it's actually laid out better. The "virtual" option at some CC's has been a disaster in some cases, she has been SO frustrated with it, that courses that were created and meant to be online are actually much better than what she's experienced.
So, even though the amount of work is comparable, the layout of the course and the info contained is actually so much better, it's LESS stressful than regular CC courses.
Just one person's experience, and it's pretty limited.
