Pierpont doesn't have any requirements to take classes from their school.  You have to take 3 credits from Parkersburg.

"Meet minimum of 12 credit hours from a regionally accredited higher education institution,
including a minimum of three credits which must be earned from WVU Parkersburg, as per state mandate."

That's the bottom line.

I can't speak for everyone, but as a non-WV resident, the cost of that one three-credit class ($1,074) is more than my entire AAS budget from start to finish.  And here in Connecticut, the difference in prestige between an AAS from WVU Parkersburg or Pierpont C&TC will never budge the employment needle.
