A friend of mine earned a degree in English from one of the top 100 universities. (over $150k tuition total)
He ended up working at a department store for a year.
Later, he got another bachelor in Business Administration to change his career. Now he's working as a real estate guy.
Some talented people can make millions of dollars by working as a content writer. In that case, English major will help.
But if you're not truly talented in writing, don't bother with English major.
or maybe you can try to teach English in third world countries??
