Well that depends your situation in my case I need those courses you can see what you need I know that at least I will end up with I certification that I can use, and with some RA credits. 

I checked NMJC it cost me more than I was thinking I try Clovis and you end up paying more I try Luna college they do not accept international student.
I checked UMPI but its a RUSH and in 2 months I do not think I will get 30 credits eider and most of the courses my Sophia's courses they do not accept to fulfill the General education and you end up taking more classes than the minimum requirement.

Just an FYI, you don't need to bring in 30cr RA, you only need 24cr - the final 6cr comes from the cornerstone and capstone.

I know it can be hard to try to take that many in a single term at UMPI, but maybe do as many as possible and then switch to TEL or one of the other inexpensive schools to finish the rest?

Another option is to contact Snow College and see if they will give you a scholarship to match with the in-state tuition.  Though it's more expensive than UMPI, the term is longer.  So UMPI is 1400/8-week term = $175/week.  Snow College in-state rates are $1743/4 month term (~ 17 weeks) = $103/week.  Not "cheap" but still relatively inexpensive.

But...if you do 24cr with Snow, the price works out to be $72.63/cr, which is more expensive than TEL, which is about $66.67/cr.  So at the point that you're just doing 24cr at Snow, you'd have been better off using TEL.  

Also, just to let you know, I had a 15% off coupon at TEL, so the course was $56.67/cr.  If you did 24cr in a single term at UMPI, the cost would be about $58.33/cr.  You're better off at TEL if you only do 24cr and have a coupon.

The benefit of TEL is that you know up front exactly what you're getting, and what it will cost, but it could end up costing more in the long run; the benefit of UMPI is that the price is low for a competency-based program, the con is that you don't get to choose your courses (I think) and if you don't go fast, you end up overpaying for credits compared to TEL; and the benefit of Snow (if you get the scholarship) is that the term is longer, giving you more time to complete the courses, but the initial outlay is more than UMPI as well.

I might try a single TEL course and see how it goes before making a decision.  And, the other thing with TEL is that you pay as you go - so, as an example, if you can only scrape together $200/mo, you can take a course each month.  If it takes you 7 months to scrape together the $1400 to go to UMPI, then that's 7 months wasted.

Yes it a good Option for some one that is a US Citizen most student here are international and the do not get scholarship or any tax discount.
