Any knowledge as to the flexibility of the foreign language requirements in the GEC? I'd rather not take Spanish or French with UMPI if I can afford it, as I've been self-studying Brazilian Portuguese for over a year now. Any chance they'd accept ACFTL credits in place or transfer credits from an RA institution that would teaches Portuguese?

ACFTL would be optimal, but they only test European Portuguese, which is a whole hurdle by itself.

They are very generous on PLA credits. If you can effectively prove it and or have college equivalent credit ACFTL is ACE credit. UMPI will likely take it.
