I took the POL300 Contemporary International Problems challenge exam a few nights ago. It was very heavy on the Arab Israeli conflict, especially the wars of 1948, 1967 and 1973. There were also questions related to various forms of strategic deterrence and some related to the Iran/Iraq War and modern multi-polar international systems. I felt that I had performed well, but I ended up not passing. It was 50 questions. I took it cold, so a little bit of studying probably would have helped. I do like that the exams don't take too long. I can take them before bed after the kids go to sleep.
