Agree it's not a "big deal" about the age waiver process. Wasn't my point. Just wanted OP to know about it. The general advice is that one applies right now to lock in catalog. Well, if OP at age 19 does that application right away today without 24 RA credits already in place, then accuplacer has to be taken within 30 days of application and that might not be easy to do with finding a test center in some place this time of year and with covid. (edit to add: yes, some places do offer remote option. mileage will vary. OP has some leg work to do to figure it out.) It adds a step or two to the whole process but is not a big deal... just need to know. And if OP has birthday soon, then waiting a bit can have a benefit (as others have said). OP will need 24 RA credits regardless of age issues, but does not have them right now.
