This happened to me twice in the last couple of weeks. The first time I only got two questions in and it shutdown. I contacted Study.com and they said they will get back to me. It took like 4 or 5 days but they reset the test for me. They were waiting until it was graded.
The second time I did what was mentioned before. I had the code written down so I just re-opened the test and switched to another webcam.
It seems part of the problems I was having was using an external webcam on my laptop instead of the lower quality integrated one.
