1. They can give me no information on what UL classes can transfer in until I am working with an advisor.

2. That in order to use financial Aid I need to take 6 credit hours in one semester with them. Sad I was hoping to only need Info Lit, Cornerstone, and Capstone. Obviously I cannot take Capstone until it's the last class I do.

3. To work with an Advisor and get my degree plan, I need to be enrolled.

Basically, I am up a creek without a paddle. SO disappointing. If they could just tell me which UL courses would transfer in, I would try to knock them out and then be able to take all 7 credits I NEED at Excelsior. I have no idea what to do now. I am almost inclined to just take the Coopersmith classes I want and risk it later.

At EC, the semester has 3 segments to it. There's the 15 week set of courses. There are also 2 8 week segments that run back to back. You absolutely CAN complete your Cornerstone, Capstone, and Info Lit in 1 semester. Cornerstone and Info Lit in Term A and Capstone in Term B all in the same semester.

In my experience there, the advisors aren't great. Mine never knows the answers to my questions and takes a wee or two to get back to me. She won't use email either so there's not paper trail which is frustrating for me.

Yes but I can't take the Capstone UNTIL I have all my other UL requirements transfers in, right? It has to be last. And I can't take those until I KNOW which UL Coopersmith classes are accepted. Unless some kind soul can give me insight on here as to what Coopersmith classes should transfer in UL, I feel like I don't have a choice but take some random $$$ class at Excelsior just to have financial aid pay for it and the Cornerstone and Info Lit.

I was told by my advisor that I CAN take the Capstone once all of the program requirements are met. So like I'm a BS in business major. I need to have completed ALL of the business courses required then I can take Capstone. My gen eds do not needed to be completed. Now whether or not my advisor was right, who knows.

EC isn't your only option. There's always TESU and COSC. TESU is actually looking like a much better fit and deal for me than EC. It's took bad this is such a complicated process!
EC accepts 48 of my film schoolcredits. No other college Will. ? I am going for a BS in liberal arts. It is not clear what I need to do for upper level. Gosh I wish it were!
