How difficult is it? HOw often do you use math skills in this class? I haven't studied algebra in years and haven't taken calculus ever to give you an idea of where I'm at...Also, do you or anyone else know if the Introduction to health and wellness class also at ASU for $99 deal would be accepted at COSC as a social science class or an elective as a liberal arts class? Or useless to take? I may go into business administration so not sure how that works as far as electives totally unrelated to career choice.. thanks for any information !
It's pretty basic algebra but it's not super easy either; no calculus. Supposedly, the second week is the hardest. Every week, you need to do at least some math for the lab component. I think you can audit the course on edX to get an idea of how difficult it is.
I don't know if health & wellness will transfer to COSC but it does appear to be more difficult than I anticipated. There is a significant amount of stuff that you are supposed to read, but I don't think that there will be much in the way of math. You might find it easy, due to the lack of math.
