My suggestion is to not expect the advisor to help you "see exactly what's going on". They won't be very helpful in evaluating your credits or telling you how fast you can do this. They won't help at all with alternative credits.That's why we call it a DIY degree...because you really do have to do it yourself. You would do best to just apply and get your transcripts in. It'll take them up to a month to do the evaluation, so work on all the courses that dfrecore listed above while you're waiting.
