Hello everyone,
So I suppose I'm posting about a very typical question here but bare with me as this is my first post after becoming aware of the big three. Which has been for me a breath of fresh air seeing as how I can finish my degree without starting from scratch. Anyway, I'm a 28 year old male that has completed 110 credit hours at Utica College which is located in Utica, NY. My degree was to be in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. However, after roughly 3.5 years I decided to drop out based upon several personal/medical issues. Throughout, last six years I've been on a quasi soul searching journey which has involved trying a whole bunch of things, working a whole bunch of jobs including a couple entrepreneurial ventures, and figuring out what I like and what I don't. Needless to say I have pinpointed what I want to do with my life. That focus has brought me here to this forum.
Clearly, with having so much course work completed I would like to graduate as soon as possible and start working in a professional setting as soon as possible. I've come to understand that The Big 3 would best suit my needs. Of the three I'm tentatively favoring TESU or Excelsior because I've heard that they do not require a science and lab to graduate. Can any one confirm this? While having interest in the subject I've always found the classes to be rather lifeless. So I'm going to attach my transcript in the hopes that you guys can give me some direction. Basically what I would like to know is:
1) What credits will transfer, what credits will not?
2) For credits that don't transfer should I test out (can I?). Or more generally, what is the most appropriate course of action?
3) What school will best suit my needs?*****
4) What is the estimated time frame for graduation?
5) Is their a science requirement at TESU or excelsior?
*** My main priority is that I want to finish as soon as possible. I'm sure it sounds repetitive if you're a veteran of the forums but is the truth. I really have a desire to get out into the real world and start working my butt off.****
I have not contacted any of the schools yet because I wanted to come to the forums first to get a better understanding of what needs to be done. I've attached a copy of my transcript. Thank you guys in advance!
