This is a prime example of the watered down k-12 system. People can no longer think beyond phase 1. Obviously the hiring person does not understand that the MBA is a superior degree covering information above and beyond what the lower level degree would cover. For example, a hiring person may overlook someone with an accounting degree because the job description requires a business degree or the job description requires an associates and the candidate has a BA.
Would OP be better off completing 20 graded credits and graduating from Athabasca University, with the BGS? It has a 0 residency and he could put a bachelors on his resume so dumb humans or computers don't deny them the job opportunity.
