The courses, are they much alike the ones of the providers? Or do they contain more required meetings / assignments in general?

In general, they are more challenging, with a textbook to read, regular written assignments to be turned in for grading, plus a midterm and final. You will have to juggle a bunch of due dates as they are on a specific schedule (like a normal college course). ePacks are self-paced, which might help, but they probably aren't any easier.
