TESC - BA in Art

I was eyeing the BA in Art offered by TESC and wondering, do the studio art courses (required for the major) have to be upper level?

I ask because, once I finish my BA in Psychology at Excelsior (and probably before I begin my graduate program in counseling) I will probably be taking about 24 semester units of studio art courses from a community college. I'll be doing this to fulfill later requirements for art therapy certification. It would be great if I could use those same credits at TESC to get a second BA degree. I can't imagine there is any way to meet studio art requirements without transferring credits in, as it is kind of an in-person experience.

Upper level studio art courses would be MUCH more expensive than lower level ones. Community college courses in California are $26/unit. Studio art courses at my local university (one that offers a BFA degree) are $375/unit. :eek:

If anyone has looked into this, I'd love to find out what you've learned. I tried to do a search, but of course "art" is too short a word for the forum search engine, darn it! I will try TESC as well, but I figured it didn't hurt to see if someone else already looked into this.
