Back to the drawing board, I go.

Eh? That just doesn't make sense to me. If exams are not for you, how did you get this far with your APUS courses and the rest of your undergrad studies without exams? Don't go back to the drawing board unless you're looking at other schools with slightly different exam options... otherwise all you're doing is just overthinking and stalling... at the end of the day, almost all schools, including Full Sail will require exams of some sort, it my differ slightly.
Haha. I think that came out wrong.
My fear is proctored exams. I do not like the idea of having to take a picture of my room and have someone watch me while I take a test. It makes me anxious just thinking about it.
In addition, as a stay at home mom, I am never alone to even take an exam that requires me to be alone. That's why Study.com didn't work for me. Those type of exams won't allow me to rock a baby while I work or eat candy to get rid of the stress.
Honestly, my courses currently are based around writing essays and forum postings. Only in my general ed courses did I have any form of exams. The last exam for my degree was in an accounting course I think. Other exams were for science and statistics courses. None of which were proctored. I don't think they even had time limits. Since then -- I write 3 to 5 essays weekly and about 15 forum postings.
I've kicked butt at APUS because I work my butt off to kick butt.
Yes, I respect and of course, I expect to have some sort of exams within any master's program I choose. So it's not like I "can't" take them. It's the fact that they are proctored that I dislike.
So yeah... exams fine ; proctored exams umm.... if I can avoid them ... no.

It wasn't a good match for me, but I can confirm if you do sign up under their first-term free offer and you don't like its format at the end of the first term (3 months) you can just unenroll from the program and really owe nothing at all. I didn't get far but it did look like more writing than exams - but as bjcheung77 said, every program will have some exams. I went MS-ITM over MBA, my heart is in IT and I already have a BSBA to 'prove' my business education background.
As far as WGU I know that the MSML (Master of Science in Management and Leadership) is supposed to be more writing paper based than exam based https://www.wgu.edu/online-business-degr...ogram.html See these threads to start: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ress-Share And https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Wgu-msml--32565
Allvia,
I really appreciate this. I had forgotten about Walden University completely. I will review these links right away. I like the idea of trying out a school to confirm it is a good fit for my needs.
Thank you so much for this information.
