Did this website just drastically change?

I didn't think it was possible to get more 90s. 

I thought this new theme (OrionMobile) looked pretty 2000's. The original (GoMobile theme) definitely looked 90's. 

I did do some research to see if there was more modern looking forum software (e.g. Flarum has a slick interface), but I would just be afraid of a lot of our long-time users hating anything that is too dramatically different from what they are used to.

Also, MyBB is supposed to be coming out with a huge new 2.0 version in the next few months and they are promising that it will be a lot more modern. I am thinking that will be our best bet...

Big updates are exciting. Big new bugs are not. Hopefully they have tested it thoroughly.

For sure. We will wait at least a few months to see how stable the new version is before considering an upgrade.
