He said something about residency which bothers me. I will have to take mandatory 16 units with TESU or pay $2500 for a waiver...Can anyone please shed more light about this because this seems like taking a mandatory 5 or 6 courses with them. Is there any way out?
You have the option of taking 16 credits with TESU (four 3cr courses plus the mandatory 1cr cornerstone and 3cr capstone) or you can pay $2500 ($2200 with Study.com discount) to waive those requirements, and only need to take the cornerstone and capstone, and you can transfer in the balance of 116 credits.
Most of us pay for the residency waiver and just transfer in as much as we can. Either way, you still have to pay for the cornerstone ($300 as long as it is completed before July 1st) and the capstone ($1098 with the Study.com discount) in order to graduate, but that should be all you have to take with them unless you're in a degree program that doesn't have alternative credit options.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
