I thought I had seen them do this in the 2016 video of commencement, but 2017 does not show this.  I do know that they will have a photographer there to take those classic graduation with diploma style photos - https://www.tesu.edu/current-students/legacy

EDIT: I found the 2016 video and it does show them handing out a symbolic diploma https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SKoumgS8Pk, the 2017 video is just taken at a much more limited viewpoint to see this (I prefer the previous years wider stance)
