At one time I was comparing the two for that very major. I found that with TESC, I could have tested out of the entire degree, but it would have been more expensive to go through them. ( I don't live in NJ.) With Excelsior, I would have needed a Historiography class for sure (there is no exam for that one), and maybe one or two more. Its been a while since I researched this. I finally decided a liberal arts degree would suffice for my needs, saved the dough, and went with EC.
