It took 3 tries but I finally passed the chemistry CLEP a few weeks back. I recommend the study.com course (if possible), the REA book (for the practice tests only) and Chemistry Concepts & problems by Houk. Know how to get the answer, don’t memorize the answers themselves. I would definitely start with concepts and problems to get a good footing.
I took the straighterline Chem 1 lab and just finished the chem 2 lab with TESU. The TESU lab was much tougher in terms of written work/problems/explanations, but all of the actual labs were easy; Just follow the instructions.
