Found out an association I am a member of gives a discount at CSU. Bringing the total per class to $765. Now....that is making it extremely difficult to choose. I think I might reach out to some people on linkedin with degrees from CSU to ask them some questions. I see the head of EHS for one of the top aerospace companies has the same masters in OHS from CSU, so that is a good sign. According to the safety guy here, CSU has a good reputation. And I haven't seen anyone asking for a RA degree for EHS positions (other than someone requiring a strictly science degree). Possibly require a RA bachelors, but having an unrelated RA bachelors, with the NA in EHS might still work. Searching on indeed and monster is not convincing me that a NA degree will change a thing from a RA degree in that field.
I know RA is the gold standard, but dangett, 765 per class is really making me lean towards CSU, NA and all. And ignoring the rep that fed me BS about working on RA status. Paying out of pocket every paycheck or once a month makes it that much easier.
Actually, it looks like universities are just about the only places that specify RA.
