After searching the degree forum and the TESU website, can you please help me with the following unanswered questions? It's too much money to pay and screw it up because I thought I understood!
Are the following costs correct:
study.com disc versus normal costs
application fee - $75 (same)
graduation fee - $332 (same)
residency waiver - $1800 vs $2500
capstone - $1098 vs $1500
cornerstone - waived vs $300
Total: $3305 vs $4707 ($1402 savings with study.com)
Also,
1. To receive discounts, must enroll and start capstone by June 30. Correct?
2. Residency waiver and capstone fee must be paid by June 30. Correct?
3. Can you take an epack course (by June 30) instead of capstone and still receive the discount?
4. Are epack courses the same price as study guided ($499 per credit)?
5. Will TESU accept payment plans for the residency waiver & capstone and still apply the discount?
6. Is it true that once you pay the residency waiver, you MUST apply for graduation with 12 months?
And, lastly, has anyone had their employer pay for the residency waiver? My employer will often cover the tuition.
Bottom line, it will take some time to put together the upfront fees so other options would be good to know.
Thank you in advance. Your advice is invaluable.
