NA degree and other countries?

To be on the safe side, I would recommend making sure the NA degree is, in fact, USDOE and CHEA recognized and not just one of the two... (example) as ACICS lost their USDOE but retained their CHEA recognition.  Another example, ITT Tech is well recognized in Canada, they were an NA institution, the same goes with Corinthian Colleges, some of the schools were RA and others were NA, they even had campuses in Canada.

Is this the same thing, or are they using language creatively here?

"NationsUniversity is an accredited member of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is listed by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) as a recognized accrediting agency. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)."

Also: "The institution is a member of

- Christian Higher Education Foundation, Inc.
- National Academic Advising Association (NACADA)
- Southern Association of Collegiate Registrar’s Admissions Officers (SACRAO)"
