However, you can have to areas of study within the same type of degree, and it's counted as one degree. You can have two concentrations within the same type of degree. For example, you can have two concentrations within a BSBA or two AOSs within a liberal arts, BA program. And, as Eriehiker said, there are multiple certificates in business if two concentrations aren't enough for you.

There are enough alternative sources of credit for you to do marketing and human resources.

So If I wanted to get HR, I can still use my tests to get the MRKT degree? I just cant do it at the same time, I have to come back and return in the test scores? Huh

You can do two areas of study/concentrations at the same time as long as it's within the same type of degree. HR and marketing are AOSs in the BSBA program. You would have two AOSs for one degree. You wouldn't be doing two degrees. This is the equivalent of having a double major.

Quote:Two Areas of Study Within One Degree

Similar to declaring a double major, you are able to pursue a second area of study within your degree program. For example, you can complete a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in English – you would only need to complete the Area of Study requirements as outlined in the program’s credit distribution guide – because your general education requirements would remain the same (as opposed to pursuing a second degree, where you would need to fulfill another set of general education requirements). No more than 9 credits that are used in the first area of study may be used for the second area of study. All related required credits for each area of study, as well as all degree requirements, must be met at the same time. To pursue this, all you have to do is contact your academic advisor, and it will be added to your degree plan.
