This is a very expensive degree at TESU, since there are a lot of requirements that can't be taken elsewhere, and each course at TESU is $1500.  If he were to do the Comprehensive Tuition plan at around $9000/yr, which would include 36cr, I question whether he would be able to do that many courses and really get his bang for the buck there.

He'd be much better off with a traditional 4-yr in-state school, or another school instead of TESU.  Does he want to do an online school?  Or is he ok with going to a regular school, including Community College to offset some of the costs?  Has he done online courses before?  It's not an easy way to go through, if he's not super self-motivated.

You bring up one great point as many Community Colleges have been certified by NSA too.  I bet with an NSA approved 2-year CC cybersecurity degree you could do the Big 3 easy with all the needed skills.
