TESU Admissions - Still No Response
#7
(10-04-2017, 11:39 PM)dfrecore Wrote: That is a LOT of credits to finish, on top of a capstone course, in just under 3 months.  I would say this is the opposite of easy, but I guess that's just me.

That's only 14 classes. Divide that by 3 months and that's 4-5 a month. He's got 1 more of the TEEX to do, and he finished the other within a couple hours so that won't take very long. The Personal Finance class on Study will be a cakewalk for him because it's literally what he does for work every day (he works at a bank). Everything else, eh. He's the kind of person who will sit in front of the computer for 6 hours straight reading up research JUST FOR FUN. Who does that? (I may or may not consider myself insane for marrying him haha!) And he retains that information freakishly well and for abnormally long amounts of time. He's a ridiculously fast reader too (not that I'm jealous) which helps. So I think he can finish this faster than I would, for sure.

This is also assuming a handful of his courses won't transfer. He was an engineering major before and has some very specialized classes on his transcript. Until he gets the official evaluation he's assuming they won't even show up as free electives. If they do, awesome! That would lower his course load to about 24 credits needed if they take all of them. Rather be overestimating how much he has left than underestimating.

*Please note: my husband is likely insane and he knows it. And he also knows I think the way his brain works is freakish. Not trying to brag or say he's smarter than anyone or anything when I say 40 credits will be easy for him. There's just something different about how his brain processes things. He is able to go through information at hyper speed and understand it in depth but has no clue as to why he can do that. At least where finishing his degree is involved, it will serve him very well.

**And yes, I am totally jealous that he can do this. Because I have less credits needed than he does but will likely take twice as long to finish. X.x
