Meteorology degree or YOUR THOUGHTS??
#10
sanantone Wrote:I hate liberal studies degrees and believe they should be avoided unless they're the only option.. Excelsior has a Natural Science major, and their military deal is better unless you don't mind taking a bunch of TECEPs you don't need to meet TESU's residency requirement.

If you don't do TESU's military program, which requires 24 credits in residence, you will have to pay $1800-2500 for the residency waiver plus $1100-1500 for the capstone. At Excelsior, you won't have a residency requirement if you pay the $760 enrollment fee. Their capstone will be $750.

A natural science major will be more marketable than a liberal studies major with an 18-credit concentration.

I agree with this - not a huge fan of the BALS, I was kind of just thinking that the OP might need a check-the-box degree.

So EC is definitely a better option if they have what you want, I just don't have enough info there to be able to help with the degree. I would pay to apply and get an eval there if it were me.
